The Torre-Vecchia olive grove with it's 900 trees, is one of the more ancient in the region where you can found local species which are more than 100 years old. The olive picking is made manually between second half of October and beginning of November. The olives are cold pressed in a local "frantoio" giving a extra vergine oil of the best quality with a slight almond taste, which is a delight for Mediterranean cuisine amateurs.
